Great Moments in Trollop History: Jimmy Kimmel vs. Melissa Joan Hart
On “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week, recent “Dancing with the Stars” loser Melissa Joan Hart came on for the obligatory ABC cross-promotion between the two series. Kimmel has each contestant on his show after they are eliminated from the competition.
When Kimmel made a reference to Hart’s previous acting gig on “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch,” Hart reacted in a way that not even Clarissa could explain. She came across very trollopy instead of taking the joke with grace or playing along in good humor.
“At any point during the competition did you consider using witch craft to help you?” Kimmel said.
“Whoa, hold on, that joke is like 1996, I think, so…” Hart said.
“Yeah, but so are you, to be honest,” Kimmel replied.
The audience cheered in agreement, and Kimmel rightfully put the has-been actor in her place.
